Page 2 <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the aforesaid, the <br /> Parties hereto do contract and agree as follows : <br /> 1. County does hereby contract and agree with Authority for <br /> the operation of the county wide Housing Assistance Payments <br /> Program, including Section 8 Existing and Section 8 Moderate <br /> Rehabilitation, in behalf of the County. <br /> 2. This contractual arrangement shall begin on the <br /> day of , 1980 , and shall exist and <br /> continue for five years from the commencing day. That during the existence of this contract and the establish- <br /> ment and operation of the program by the Authority, a multi- <br /> jurisdictional board (the Coordinating Committee of the <br /> Orange County Housing Program) shall have the responsibility <br /> for periodic review and recommendation and the Board of <br /> Commissioners of the Authority shall have day to day <br /> operational control. <br /> 4. Authority agrees to transmit to County written reports <br /> detailing its operations thereunder at such times as County <br /> may request. <br />
