STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br /> COUNTY OF ORANGE <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this the <br /> day of , 1980 , by and between THE COUNTY <br /> OF ORANGE, hereinafter referred to as "County" , and the <br /> CHAPEL HILL HOUSING AUTHORITY, hereinafter referred to as <br /> "Authority" . <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> THAT WHEREAS , County has been authorized to institute a <br /> county wide Housing Assistance Program to be funded through an <br /> Annual. Contributions Contract with the United States Department <br /> of Housing and Urban Development, and <br /> WHEREAS, the Chapel Hill Housing Authority is a Housing <br /> Authority organized and existing under the Housing Authority <br /> Laws of North Carolina, and <br /> WHEREAS , the Authority has the requisite personnel and the <br /> experience in administering a Housing Assistance Program in all <br /> of Orange County, and <br /> WHEREAS , the Parties hereto do agree that in the interest <br /> of the program and its continued implementation, the Chapel Hill <br /> Housing Authority is a proper agency to operate such a program <br /> for and in behalf of the County of Orange under the terms and <br /> conditions hereinafter set forth, and <br /> WHEREAS, the Parties hereto desire to reduce their agree- <br /> ment with respect thereto in writing. <br />
