With <br /> respect to parcel #6974, conveyed to Orange County <br /> by deed recorded in Book 281, Page 1211, Orange County <br /> Registry, Orange County will convey its interest in <br /> the property to Vanguard Energy Company. This <br /> conveyance will be expressly subject to any claims or <br /> liens of the Town of Chapel Hill for assessments. <br /> Our correspondence with Vanguard indicates that it is <br /> willing to pay the assessment annually. It is <br /> apparently not in a position to pay the entire sum <br /> in one payment. Negotiations with Vanguard Energy <br /> Company through Jack Carlisle, 7615 Fayetteville Road, <br /> Raleigh, North Carolina 27603, concerning this matter <br /> should prove fruitful. <br /> I have nothing new to report regarding the other <br /> parcel.
