4 Upon the advice of the County Attorney the Board accepted an amendment to the motion,that is, an page 2.12 under section 2.3.6.1 c, paragraph 2 reads the same as 8.2 c, the Board deleted 8.2.c. The Attorney furthered advised the Board to delete 8.2.3, saying the concept needed clarifying, he did not understand it as worded. Cam. AB offered a friendly amendment to CO. Mr. Hogue and Mr. Hereford spoke concerning the designation of some property on Old Highway 10 and 86 as residential rather than commercial or industrial. Mr. Polatty noted that the residences in the area pre-dated the industribb with the exception of the xemodimx concrete plant and the industrial/commerical aspect had grown up in that area since the Novemeber 24, 1980, Pulbic Hearing. The Board discussed with Planning staff the various implications of various designations. Vote: Ayes, 5; noes, 0. The Bd. aske dthe Planning Staff to bring these changes to Public Hearing. A disucussion of property values followed. The Board considered a request fram Nello Tier Co. to change the zoning atlas designation of its property from R-1 to E-I. Mr. Polatty told the Bd. that was not a valid designation for an asphalt plant. The Board did not change the designation of that portion of land.
