I request that the Board of Commissioners
unfreeze the position so that someone can be hired to replace the in-
cumbent. The absence of the Officer will bring all work in the S &
Division to almost a complete halt except for the most rudimentary site
inspections The Officer has been responsible for the entire 2 person
S & E Division. Without this position, Orange County cannot enforce
our Sedimentation and Erosion Control Ordinance. The choice Orange County
has is '....o fill this Position or to effectively cease enforcement of the
Sedimentation and Erosion Control Ordinance.
JP/sw
1
