S. 69-25.8, in <br /> providing such fire protection services, the Town shall be sub- <br /> ject to the same immunities it enjoys in the operation of a <br /> fire department within its corporate limits. <br /> 2. The Tour 's obligation to respond to calls in <br /> accordance with this agreement shall be secondary and sub- <br /> ordinate to the Town's duty to furnish protection to the <br /> residents and property owners of the Town, <br /> 3. In consideration of the services described in <br /> Section 1, the County shall pay to the Town the sum of $65,587, <br /> This payment shall be made by the County to the Town on or <br /> before January 15, 1972. <br /> 4. This contract shall be effective for the period <br /> July 1, 1981 through June 30, 1982.
