Whitehead <br /> Personnel Director <br /> DATE: July 21, 1981 <br /> SUBJECT: Request to unfreeze designated positions <br /> Please be advised that my office has received requests to unfreeze the following <br /> positions: <br /> (1) Communications Dispatcher- position vacant due to a voluntary resignation; <br /> position is critical to continued departmental <br /> operations. <br /> (2) Veterans Service Officer- new position in the FY 81-82 Budget. <br /> (3) Courier - new part-time position approved in the FY 81-82 <br /> Budget. <br /> (4) Child Support Officer - new position approved in the FY 81-82 Budqet, <br /> None of the above positions are subject to State and Federal funding cutbacks. My office <br /> has reviewed the requests and recommend that you request board authorization to unfreeze <br /> the positions. In addition, I have prepared job specifications For each of the positions <br /> which provide a description of the tasks assigned to each position. <br /> If you need additional information or clarification, please let me know. <br /> ATTACHMENTS <br /> An Equal Action Employer <br />
