.264 <br /> 2. The ATTORNEYS shall be compensated for all <br /> services rendered in connection with paragraph number 1 <br /> above based on an hourly rate for services rendered for <br /> Forty and No/I00 Dollars ($40.00) per hour, such hours and <br /> amounts to be furnished to the County Finance Officer for <br /> payment. The COUNTY shall be responsible for all costs and <br /> expenses incurred in the performance of the services <br /> rendered the COUNTY in connection with the Child Support <br /> Enforcement Program. All costs and expenses advanced by the <br /> ATTORNEYS on behalf of COUNTY shall be reimbursed to <br /> ATTORNEYS. <br /> 3. The ATTORNEYS shall keep an itemized record of <br /> work performed for the COUNTY in connection with the Child <br /> Su+ +ort Enforcement pro.ram on a case-by-case basis and <br /> shall submit its bill therefor showing a breakdown of those <br /> services performed on a case-by-case basis. <br /> 4. The ATTORNEYS may, from time to time, be awarded <br /> attorney' s fees by the Court for representation of the <br /> COUNTY in the Child Su..ort Enforcement Pro.ram. In the <br /> event the Court makes such an award the ATTORNEYS shall <br /> account to the COUNTY for all such attorney's fees received <br /> as a result of a Court order. Such accounting shall be on a <br /> case-by-case basis. <br /> 5 . Recognizing that from time to time <br /> representation of the COUNTY by the ATTORNEYS may result in <br /> a conflict of interest for the ATTORNEYS, it is agreed that <br /> when such a conflict arises, the ATTORNEYS may refer cases <br /> requiring legal services to other lawyers in Orange County. <br /> Such referrals shall be with the consent and approval of the <br /> County Manager. In all cases of referral, the attorney to <br /> which the case is referred shall be compensated in the same <br /> manner as specified in paragraph 2 above, and shall keep an <br /> DLEMAN- BERNHOLZ <br /> �cRSON.
