' economic Yield as
2be report consists basically of four components: 1) data, 2) definition of the
issues, .3) exploration of the options, and 4) recommendations.
Force is advisory in nature, action regarding the recommendations, Because the Task
or other action,
rests with the people, the Commissioners, and the State legislators. If we can be
of assistance in this process, please let us know. Meanwhile, the Task Force is
continuing to meet. You will be kept informed through our minutes.
Not all Task Force members have been active, but those who have been dedicated to
this difficult task, in MY opinion, have performed a very fine service to the County
Also, support and cooperation from the Planning Department, the Agricultural Ex-
tension Service, and the Soil Conservation agency have been excellent.
Sincerely, l
4
Anne Barnes, Chair
Agricultural Task Force
