(SR-V-C-1-a) <br /> (f) Plans for proposed community water supply <br /> systems shall be approved by the Health <br /> Department Director or by the Division of <br /> Health Services, Department of Human <br /> Resources, whichever is appropriate. <br /> (Requirements for approval of plans same as <br /> for proposed public or community sewage <br /> systems. ) (SR-V-D-1) <br /> (6) Basis fp/ County Involvement in Water/Sewer <br /> Extensions <br /> (a) A request for funding water and sewer <br /> utilities under the terms of this policy may <br /> be made by any individual, agency or <br /> corporation or any municipality within Orange <br /> County; provided, however, Orange County will <br /> enter into water/sewer supply and/or treatment <br /> agreements only with public bodies. All <br /> requests shall be made to the County Manager' s <br /> Office accompanied by the required application <br /> material (WSP) . <br /> All applications must be on file in the County <br /> Manager' s Office in advance of the start of <br /> the budget process (February 1) . <br /> Upon receiving a request for water or sewer <br /> utilities, the County Manager will gather the <br /> following information: <br /> - A map and brief report identifying existing <br /> anticipated areas of development that could <br /> be served by the requested water or sewer <br /> utilities. <br /> - Approximate additional cost of installing <br /> oversized utilities to serve the development <br /> in the area of the proposed project. <br /> - Signed statement of the water or sewer <br /> service provider to whose system the <br /> requested utilities will be connected, <br /> stating their willingness to serve the <br /> proposed project as well as any other <br /> anticipated development in the area <br /> specified by the County.
