The board should be composed of citizens <br /> representing the full breadth of those whose interests are vitally <br /> affected by water and sewer decisions. Because of the mixture of <br /> funding sources that are available to county government and which <br /> seem to be appropriate for use in varying amounts, every resident <br /> or property owner in the county will have some interest in these <br /> matters. As current providers of water and sewer services to the <br /> citizens , Orange Water and Sewer Authority, the town of <br /> Hillsborough and Orange Alamance Water Company have a crucial <br /> relationship to the success of the policies and projects <br /> undertaken. Similarly those responsible for long-term economic <br /> growth, recreational facilities and environmental protection need <br /> to be closely involved in the decision process. We therefore <br /> that the board be comprised of a dozen or more individuals <br /> including at least the following represe.:to tives: one from each <br /> �� <br /> y one planning or more from each water or sewer <br /> provider, pm <br /> one from <br /> Township, <br /> the board and one from t-he economic develoent <br /> commission. <br /> 26 <br />
