Board and the corporate seal of said County shall be impressed on <br /> each of said notes. The form of said notes and the endorsements <br /> to be placed upon the reverse thereof shall be substantially as <br /> follows: <br /> No. ` $ <br /> United States of America <br /> State of North Carolina <br /> COUNTY OF ORANGE <br /> SANITARY SEWER BOND ANTICIPATION NOTE <br /> The County of Orange, a municipal corporation in the State <br /> of North Carolina, is justly indebted and for value received <br /> hereby promises to pay to the bearer on the 16th day of March, <br /> 1988, the principal sum of <br /> THOUSAND DOLLARS <br /> and to pay interest thereon from the date hereof at the rate of <br /> six per centum (6%) per annum, payable upon the presentation and <br /> surrender of this note at its maturity. Both the principal of <br /> and the interest on this note are payable at NCNB National Bank <br /> of North Carolina, in the City of Charlotte, North Carolina, in <br /> any coin or currency of the United States of America which, at <br /> the time of payment, is legal tender for the payment of public <br /> and private debts. For the prompt payment hereof, both principal <br /> and interest as the same become due, the faith and credit of said <br /> County of Orange are hereby irrevocably pledged. <br /> This note is given for money borrowed in the amount of the <br /> face of this note in anticipation of the receipt of the proceeds <br /> of the sale of a like amount of Sanitary Sewer Bonds duly <br /> authorized by an order adopted by the Board of Commissioners for <br /> said County on March 24, 1987, which order has taken effect, and <br />
