The County Attorney stated that such <br /> money could come from the general fund or an enterprise fund. <br /> It <br /> for that <br /> next�yearhes will need to be developed before <br /> the budget <br /> Chair Marshall referred to a prior proposal of a revolving fund <br /> for Economic Development being established with an allocation of $50,000 <br /> each year for five years. The limit of participation in economic <br /> development would be limited by the amount of money in the revolving fund. <br /> Commissioner Halkiotis stressed the importance of the Board <br /> getting involved in bringing meaningful economic development to the <br /> County. High quality development can only enhance the tax base in Orange <br /> County. g <br /> Commissioner Willhoit stated he favored an enterprise fund for <br /> economic development with an amount to be determined at a later date. <br /> Chair Marshall emphasized the importance of knowing what money <br /> may be available so that a response can be made at the time a request is <br /> received. <br /> Geoffrey Gledhill expressed two concerns about the Efland Sewer <br /> Project and noted that a decision needs to be made by the Board on these <br /> two items: <br /> (1) Whether or not the plans to develop the Efland Sewer Line are <br /> consistent with the Land Use Plan, and <br /> (2) whether or not the Board would be willing to do things to <br /> expand the Efland line consistent with the plan that it would not <br /> otherwise be willing to dor if it were new industry or bein <br /> another industrial park in the County, 9 created in <br /> Y� because <br /> operate the system and of the commitment to <br /> arrangement. perhaps someday desire not to have a fee <br /> 4.. • C4.idB • D • • _0•I <br /> Marvin Collins presented for consideration a proposed "Memorandum <br /> of Understanding" between Orange County and the N.C.
