The ordinance also <br /> specifies the procedures for preparation and submission of <br /> an environmental impact statement as well as the content of <br /> the document. <br /> ORANGE COUNTY LAND UBE PTjAN. <br /> Amend the ORANGE COUNTY LAND USE PLANr SECTION 3 .6 - <br /> CEDAR GROVE TOWNSHIPr to address changing land use and <br /> population patterns in the township. An element of concern <br /> to be addressed is water quality concerns related to the <br /> Little River. Back Creek. and Upper Eno water supply water- <br /> sheds. The plan amendment is also in response to a five (5) <br /> year update schedule specified at the time of plan adoption <br /> in 1981. <br /> ORANGE COUWTy ZONING ATLAS <br /> The proposed amendments to the Zoning Atlas under considera- <br /> tion are as follows: <br /> 1. PD-2-87 Chandler Concrete Company <br /> A Planned Development-Industrial (PD-I-3) district <br /> has been proposed on property located on the south side <br /> of Old NC 10 (SR 1710) approximately one-half mile from <br /> the intersection with new NC 86. The property that would <br /> be rezoned is 2.0 acres of Lot 32 on Hillsborough <br /> Township Tax Map 45. The property in question is <br /> proposed for use as the site for a water reclamation <br /> system adjacent to an existing concrete plant. The <br /> proposed PD-I-3 district would be developed in <br /> accordance with the 1-3 Heavy Industry zoning district. <br /> the requirements of the PD-I district. and the "Class A" <br /> Special Use Permit that would be required for the <br /> project. <br /> 2 .
