Sinai Road) <br /> Dear Ms. Crudup: <br /> Due to the lack of road frontage available on SR 1718, this office <br /> will not recommend a left turn lane as referred to in a letter to Mr. Tony <br /> Withers dated July 21, 1987. <br /> Since the Department of Transportation does not have a dedicated right- <br /> - of-way on SR 1718 and the owner does not have sufficient road frontage to <br /> accommodate a turn lane, we feel the potential exists for a possible conflict <br /> between property owners. In lieu of a turn lane, the following is recommended: <br /> 1. One hundred (100) foot right- tura taper on SR 1718. <br /> 2. Increase dedicated right-of-way to forty (40) feet <br /> from centerline for future road expansion. <br /> 3. Increase driveway width to thirty-six (36) feet to <br /> accommodate three (3) twelve (12) foot lanes. <br /> These recommendations are shown on the attached sketch.
