C. 27278 <br /> Dear Shirley: <br /> Since 1980, Orange County Planning Department has enforced the <br /> Orange County Subdivision Regulations within Hillsborough and its <br /> environs and has been most effective in its administration. <br /> Last July, the Town was able to hire a full-time planning person <br /> and later this fiscal year a part-time person will be added to that <br /> department to help with the planning and zoning for Hillsborough and <br /> its extraterritorial area. The Town Board feels the Town is now <br /> ready to adopt and enforce its own subdivision regulations, a draft <br /> of which will be reviewed by the Town Board at the October 19, 1987 <br /> meeting. A. public hearing regarding the regulations has been scheduled <br /> for October 27, 1987. <br /> With this schedule in mind, the Town officially request that Orange <br /> County release the Town of Hillsborough from the enforcement of the <br /> Orange County Subdivision Regulations. <br /> Hillsborough appreciates the service Orange County has extended to <br /> its citizens and the Town Board looks forward to continued undertakings <br /> with the County. <br /> With highest regards. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> 474X:4C z,k.#416 <br /> Frank H.
