'-: . --- <br /> -Mr. Tennant. <br /> .PURPOSE: Board approval of the RC&D Eno River State Park Public Water-' <br /> Based Recreation Development, Measure Plan No. 37-6001-135-029. . <br /> Nom: This Plan applies only to the Cates Ford section of the - <br /> Eno River Park. <br /> There is no financial obligation required on the part of the <br /> County. The Board of Commissioners, as the governing body <br /> of the County where the Park is located, is asked to endorse , <br /> this plan'. Funding, when available will be 50% State Park and <br /> 50% RC & D--No district or local funds. ` <br /> The North Central RC&D prepared this plan which was endorsed <br /> _-by^the Orange Water and Soil Conservation District Board of. '--: <br /> Supervisors on 1/27/82. <br /> IMPACT: Addition of recreational developments at the Eno State Park <br /> would add water-based recreation acreage of about 15.5 acres <br /> per 1000/population. . <br /> This plan aids implemenation of a stated objective of the North <br /> Central RC & C which"calls for development of parks, recreational <br /> facilities, and wildlife sanctuaries.' <br /> If the Board approves the Plan, it should authorize the-Chairman <br /> to sign it. <br /> -1 RECOMMENDATION <br /> As the Board decides. <br />
