043 Task Force Recommendation Two Completed -- the report was referred to the appropriate departments. Task Force Recommendation Three Incorporated in this recommendation are suggested program activities to be undertaken by the Nonprofit Housing Corporation. These, in addition to other innovative programs, will be analyzed and options developed by 2/12/88. Task Force Recommendations Four and Five 1. The Ordinance Review Subcommittee of the Planning Board will be asked to review and report on the following by 1/8/88. a) Existing Standards for new mobile home parks b) Density Bonus/Incentives to encourage development c) Effective methods to deal with existing mobile home parks 2 . Hold a public hearing, February 1988, to receive citizen comments on any proposed change or addition. Task Force Recommendation Six 1. The Ordinance Review and Transportation Advisory subcommittees of the Planning Board will be undertaking a review of the public vs private roads issue within the next two months. In addition, they will discuss development of a Thoroughfare Plan. Currently, we have a Street Classification Plan that deals only with existing roads. A thoroughfare Plan will identify new roads and deal with deficiencies in existing roads. We propose a public hearing be set for May 1988 (contingent upon DOT's schedule) to receive citizen comment. 2. Currently, the County has a Transportation Plan that addresses transportation needs of special populations under the umbrella of the human services delivery system. In an attempt to address the issue of County-wide public transportation, the team will explore four options. a) Expand the existing transportation plan to serve a larger population through Section 18 federal funds. The focal point, however, must remain meeting the transportation needs of the special populations.
