The 1987-88 County Budget <br /> includes $25, 000 for this program. Although the funding is <br /> not at the level requested, it will enable the group to ini- <br /> tiate the program. The group is excited, eager, and ready to <br /> start and awaits authorization from the Board of Commissioners <br /> to do so. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S) : <br /> 1. Appoint Advisory Committee members nominated by the Ad Hoc <br /> Committee. <br /> 2 . Authorize the Advisory Committee to add other members, <br /> subject to confirmation by the Board of Commissioners. <br /> 3 . Authorize the Advisory to proceed with implementation of <br /> the consultative service as outlined in the attached <br /> letter from Susan McClanahan. <br />
