The Task Force also that <br /> licensing would encourage licensing for note <br /> classifications iof <br /> cats and dogs. On July 6, 1987 the Board approved <br /> animal control fees of $5. 00 for do s ayd/n(spayed/neutered <br /> unspayed/unneutered) and referred the matter to the Board of Health. On September 24, the Board <br /> of Health reviewed the matter and recommend the following to <br /> the Board of Commissioners. <br /> (1) Differential licensing for dogs and cats; <br /> (2) License fee of $5. 00 for spayed and neutered dogs and a <br /> $25. 00 fee for unspayed or unneutered dogs; and <br /> (3) License fee of $2. 00 for spayed and neutered cats and a <br /> $10. 00 fee for unspayed or unneutered cats. <br /> If differential licensing is approved, we will need to modif <br /> the County 1988 Real and Personal Pro ert g <br /> P <br /> Abstract. An abstract is attached as a point y fax erenc <br /> e, <br /> section D identifies dogs. The deadline onincorporatingnany <br /> change to that form is October 15,1987. <br /> In addition, to stimulate responsible pet ownership by those <br /> residents who want to have their <br /> cannot afford to, a low cost s apets neutered or spayed, but <br /> mended by the Task Force. p y/neuter program is recom- <br /> RECOMMENDATION(5) : <br /> Approve Health Board recommendation. <br />
