This item was presented at public <br /> hearing on August 24, 1987 . <br /> BACKGROUND: Section V identifies the forms of security that may be used <br /> to guarantee construction of required improvements in <br /> approved subdivisions. The amendment would delete cash as <br /> an acceptable form of security and add escrow agreements as <br /> a new form of security for required improvements . <br /> The Planning Board met on September 21 , 1987 to make its <br /> recommendation on the proposal . <br /> The Planning Board recommends approval of the proposed <br /> amendment. <br /> RECOMMENDATION : The Administration recommends approval of the amendment as <br /> recommended by the Planning Board with the additional <br /> recommendation that the effective date of the amendment be <br /> October 5, 1987 . <br />
