297 PROPOSED ORDINANCE AMENDMENT <br /> ORDINANCE: Subdivision Regulations <br /> REFERENCE: IV-B-8-c Landscaping Standards <br /> IV-B-8-c-1 Required Landscaping <br /> IV-B-8-e Recommended Standards for Installation <br /> and Maintenance <br /> � _Staff.�x_..,__Planning Board <br /> ORIGIN OF AMENDMENT: x <br /> x_YBOCC _Public <br /> Other: <br /> STAFF PRIORITY RECOMMENDATION: _xHigh _Middle Low <br /> Comment: <br /> EXPECTED PUBLIC HEARING DATE: August 24, 1987 <br /> PURPOSE OF AMENDMENT: To revise Section IV-B-8-c-1 of the <br /> Subdivision Regulations and related <br /> sections to address concerns regard- <br /> ing the number, location and cost of <br /> plants to be installed in new <br /> subdivisions . <br /> IMPACTS/ ISSUES : On March 24, 1987 , the Board of Commis- <br /> sioners approved revisions to Section IV-B- <br /> 8-c-1 . Subsequently a question arose about <br /> whether the new requirements would apply to <br /> subdivision applications that were in <br /> process when the requirements were adopted . <br /> The County Attorney recommended that <br /> Section IV-B-8-c-1 be amended by adding the <br /> effective date as March 24, 1987 . ids <br /> would clearly identify subdivision app l <br /> tions submitted between December 1 , 1986, <br /> the date the landscape provisions were <br /> suspended, and March 24, 1987 , the date new <br /> provisions were adopted, as being exempt. <br /> On June 19, 1987 , the Board of Commis- <br /> sioners adopted a policy to this effect. <br /> The ordinance revision would establish it <br /> as part of the ordinance. <br /> EXISTING ORDINANCE PROVISIONS : <br /> The existing provisions would be unchanged . <br /> PROPOSED AMENDMENT: <br /> Section IV-B-8-c will be amended by adding <br /> the following : <br /> * 1V-B-8-c Landscaping Standards <br /> *Amended Effective (March 24, 1987) <br />
