10) Name of the project, owner, name and address of engineer, 72 <br /> architect, planner or landscape architect, scale, date <br /> and north arrow. <br /> 2. PERMITTED USES <br /> (a) Gasoline service stations with sales limited to retail , service <br /> and repair limited to minor accessory parts and refreshments <br /> limited to self service machines. <br /> (b) Restaurants. <br /> (c) Offices, banks, clinics (with both inpatient and outpatient services) , <br /> veterinary office, medical and dental laboratories. <br /> (d) Retail stores. <br /> (e) Barber or beauty shops, shoe repair shops, printing shops, laundry <br /> establishments and dry cleaning with or without drive-in windows, <br /> and related service uses. <br /> (f) Motels and hotels. <br /> 3. USES PERMITTED BY USE PERMIT FROM THE DURHAM COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> (a) Recreation establishments including theatres, riding stables and <br /> bowling alleys. <br /> (b) Carwash. <br /> (c) Utility substations and telecommunication towers. <br /> (d) Day care centers and private schools. <br /> (e) Wholesale distribution and truck terminals provided that goods <br /> and freight are stored within a building; that maintenance of <br /> vehicles is limited to refueling and the repair and replacement <br /> of minor accessory parts incidental to the operation. <br /> (f) Rehabilitation or reconstruction of existing buildings within <br /> Highway Commercial zoning as applied before the adoption of this <br /> ordinance shall be permitted with a Use Permit. <br /> (g) Outside sales lots, such as car dealerships, mobile homes, and <br /> recreational vehicles. <br /> 4. USES PROHIBITED <br /> (a) The parking or storage of automobiles or similar vehicles which <br /> is not incidental to the operation of a principle use. Automo- <br /> biles or similar vehicles shall not be parked or stored for the <br /> purpose of removing parts or for the purpose of making major or <br /> extensive repairs. <br /> (b) Fabricating or manufacturing operations. <br /> (c) Salvage, junk or automobile graveyard operations. <br /> 3L-A <br />
