Zoning Ordinance Text Amendments <br /> Article 4 .3 (Permitted Use Table) <br /> Article 10 .4 (Off-Street Parkilig Requirements) <br /> Presentation by Greg Szymik. <br /> The purpose of the amendment is to allow crematoria as a <br /> permitted land use in Orange County. At present, crematoria <br /> are not permitted by the Zoning Ordinance. The amendment <br /> would make them a permitted use in the I -1 , 1 -2 and 1 -3 <br /> ( industrial ) zoning districts. The amendment to Article 4 .3 <br /> would add crematoria to the Permitted Use Table. The <br /> amendment to Article 10.4 would establish parking require- <br /> ments for crematoria requiring one space per employee. <br /> The Planning Staff recommends approval of the proposed <br /> amendment. <br /> MOTION: Best moved approval of amendment to Article 4.3 . Seconded <br /> by Eddleman. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. <br /> Pilkey expressed concern with parking requirements asking if <br /> there would be any time that more than two attendants would <br /> be on duty. <br /> Eddleman asked what the minimum parking requirements are in <br /> other industrial areas.
