TERMINATION OF AGREEMENT <br /> The COUNTY, by seven (7) days written notice, deliverable <br /> in person or by certified or registered mail to the CONSULTANT, may <br /> terminate this agreement, in whole or in part, when it is in the best <br /> interest of the COUNTY. In the event of termination as herein <br /> provided, the CONSULTANT shall be paid compensation for work <br /> performed to termination date. <br /> V. WHOLE AGREEMENT <br /> This agreement and the proposal submitted by the <br /> CONSULTANT, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof <br /> shall constitute the whole contract between the parties. <br /> IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the COUNTY and the CONSULTANT have caused this <br /> instrument to be executed as of the day and year first above written. <br /> County of Orange, North Carolina <br /> Shirley E.
