Four program descriptions were sub- <br /> mitted in the NACo Award competition. The NACo Achievement <br /> Awards Program, now in its 15th year, gives National recogni- <br /> tion to significant, innovative activities that improve the <br /> management or services of member counties. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S) : <br /> Recognize the achievements of the following departments. <br /> 1. Commission for Women - "Business Women's Round Table <br /> Program" <br /> 2. Recreation and Parks - "Nature Enrichment Programs" <br /> 3 . Planning - "Computerized Permit System" <br /> 4. Aging - "Volunteer Income Tax Assistance <br /> Program" <br />
