Presently, all project activities proposed <br /> in the original grant application have been completed. In <br /> order to complete the official grant closeout process, the <br /> Department of Natural Resources and Community Development <br /> (NRCD) requires that a public hearing be held prior to of- <br /> ficial closeout to assess the performance of the County in <br /> administering the grant program. Additionally the County is <br /> required to submit the following documents to NRCD. <br /> 1) Certificate of Completion <br /> 2) Certification of Public Hearing by the Chief <br /> Elected Official <br /> 3) Copy of the Final Audit <br /> Upon submission of the Certificate of Completion and the <br /> Certificate of Public Hearing, the grant may be closed <br /> contingent upon the receipt of the final audit. <br /> The program accomplishments are outlined in the attached <br /> Program Summary. All comments received during the hearing <br /> should be reviewed to determine the level of consistency with <br /> program goals. Additionally, all comments received shall be <br /> reported to NRCD along with the Public Hearing Certification. <br /> RECOMMENDATIONS: <br /> 1) Approve the Certification of Completion and authorize the <br /> Chair to sign on behalf of the Board. <br /> 2) Authorize the Chair to sign a Certification of Public Hearing <br /> to include all comments received at this public hearing. <br />
