On May 13, 1987, the Planning Director <br /> presented background information regarding a policy draft to <br /> the Natural Resources Subcommittee of the Planning Board . <br /> Policy considerations were grouped under six topical <br /> headings, including the following : <br /> 1 . Water Supply <br /> 2. Delineation/Protection of Watersheds <br /> 3. Sewage Disposal /Alternative Systems <br /> 4. Delineation of Water/Sewer Service Districts <br /> 5. Evidence of Service Capability/Capacity <br /> 6. Financial Participation <br /> Financial participation was deleted from consideration by <br /> the Planning Board, since the County Manager, Finance <br /> Director and County Attorney were to prepare a policy draft <br /> for the Commissioners review and approval . <br /> Additions and amendments to the Planning Director 's draft <br /> were prepared by the Natural Resources Subcommittee and <br /> presented to the Planning Board on June 9, 1987. The <br /> Planning Board approved the proposed water/sewer policy <br /> with only minor wording changes (see attached policy <br /> proposal ) . The Planning Board Chair subsequently recommended <br /> that a public hearing be held as soon as possible on the <br /> proposed policy to receive utility provider and citizen <br />
