PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE PAGE (+ 0 4 <br /> The amendment will make no chance to requirements placed <br /> on zoning districts by these Articles. <br /> ORANGE =UNTY SUED) V S l OH REGULATIONS <br /> The proposed amendments to the Subdivision Regulations under <br /> consideration are as follows: <br /> 1 . Amend Section IV-8-8-c LANDSCAPING STANDARDS by adding <br /> the following language: Amended Effective (March 24 , <br /> 1987 ) . This is being added to clarify when an ordinance <br /> amendment adopted on that date became effective. <br /> 2. Amend Section V IMPROVEMENTS by deleting cash as an <br /> acceptable form of security for improvements required In <br /> subdivisions and adding escrow accounts as a new form of <br /> security. <br /> 3 . Amend Section 1V-8-3-c-8 MARGINAL ACCESS STREETS and <br /> create a new Section IV-B-3-c-10 DRIVEWAYS. Section IV- <br /> B-3-c-8 would be amended by specifying forms of common <br /> or restricted access to Tots in new subdivisions being <br /> created along major streets. Section 1V-8-3-c-10 places <br /> restrictions on the number and location of driveways <br /> that will be allowed in new subdivisions. <br /> All interested citizens are invited to attend this hearing <br /> and be heard. Public comment must be received during the <br /> public hearing. Those wishing to oppose the proposals must <br /> provide competent material and substantial evidence as to the <br /> specific manner in which they are opposed to the amendments. <br /> Following the close of the public hearing , only evidence <br /> presented at public hearing will be examined by the Planning <br /> Board and Board of County Commissioners for decision. <br /> Changes may be made in the advertised proposals which reflect <br /> debate, objections and discussion at the hearing. <br /> Questions regarding the proposal should be directed to the <br /> Orange County Planning Department. The Planning, Department <br /> is located in the Orange County Agricultural /Environmental <br /> Center , 305F Revere Road, Hillsborough, N. C.
