24b <br /> :V - B - 3 - c - 4. Intersections - Streets shall be laid <br /> out so as to intersect as nearly as possible <br /> at right angles and no street shall interse: <br /> any other street at an angle less than sixty <br /> (60) degrees . <br /> IV - B - 3 - c - 6 . Curves - Horizontal and vertical curves <br /> shall ne esigned by the subdivider accord- <br /> ing to the standards of the N. C. Department <br /> of Transportation and in the interest of <br /> public safety and general welfare. Factors <br /> to be considered, among others , shall be <br /> the type and importance of the street , <br /> sight distance , anticipated traffic volume <br /> and design speed. <br /> IV - B - 3 - c - 7. Cubs-de-sac - Culs-de-sac shall not be <br /> used to avoid connection with an existing <br /> street or to avoid the extension of an <br /> important street. <br /> W IV - B - 3 - c - 8. Marginal Access Streets - Where a sub- <br /> , 1 <br /> division acjoins a heavily traveled street , <br /> in the interest of highway safety , the <br /> subdivider may be required to provide either <br /> a marginal access street parallel to said <br /> heavily traveled street or reverse frontage <br /> on a smaller street. Where access is avail- <br /> able to any internal subdivision street , <br /> whether by reverse frontage or other lot <br /> arrangement , private driveways shall not <br /> have direct access to said heavily traveled <br /> street. It is the intent of this section. <br /> to minimite the number of points of egress <br /> and ingress to main roads within Orange <br /> County. <br /> IV - B - 3 - c - 9 .
