Section IV-B-3-c-10 would place restrictions on <br /> the number and location of driveways that will be allowed in <br /> new subdivisions. The amendments are intended to provide <br /> more control on the number and location of driveways along <br /> major roadways, reducing conflicts between through traffic <br /> and turning vehicles, and maintaining the safety and traffic <br /> carrying capacity of major streets. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Planning Staff recommends approval of the proposed <br /> amendment. <br /> The Planning Board will prepare a recommendation on the <br /> proposed amendment at its September 21 , 1987 meeting. The <br /> Board of Commissioners will consider the proposal for <br /> decision on October 5, 1987. <br />
