The site location is ideal for- commercial <br /> development to serve the traffic from I-85 , Hilisbor,Ough and <br /> the developing residential and commercial interests along NC <br /> SS. <br /> RELATIONSHIP OF OCCONEECHEE POINT TO ORANGE COUNTY LAND USE <br /> PLAN <br /> The location proposed is in an area designated by the LAND <br /> USE PLAN as TEN YEAR TRANSITION. It is further designated as <br /> part- o$ the Commercial-Industrial. . Transition Node. This meant <br /> that development of a commercial -industrial nature would be <br /> expected within ten years. <br /> Hillsborough water and sewer service • is currently <br /> available at the Railroad tracks across from the Wildwood <br /> Subdivision. This water and sewer will be extended to the <br /> project. <br /> Natural environmental constraints do not apply to this <br /> • piece of property. The terrain is gently sloping and <br /> vegetation on this property have little danger of being on the <br /> endangered list .
