L1 b J <br /> within the County's jurisdiction under the North <br /> Carolina Environmental Policy Act that: <br /> (a) Require one or more of the following State permits- <br /> (1) A permit under the North Carolina Mining Act. <br /> (2) A permit for a hazardous waste facility under <br /> the North Carolina Solid and Hazardous Waste <br /> Management Act. <br /> (b) Require subdivision, planned development, special <br /> use permit or site plan approval which meet one or <br /> more of the following criteria: <br /> (1) The site contains an environmentally sensitive <br /> area. For purposes of this ordinance, <br /> "environmentally sensitive areas" include: <br /> (a) Water Supply Watersheds as defined by the <br /> Orange County Comprehensive Land Use <br /> Plan. <br /> (b) Areas identified in the Orange County <br /> Inventory of Natural Areas . <br /> (c) Sites Identified in "An Inventory of <br /> Sites of Cultural, Historic, <br /> Recreational, Biological, and Geological <br /> Significance in the Unincorporated <br /> Portions of Orange County" . <br /> (d) Lands with average slope of greater than <br /> 15% (calculated on a lot by lot basis for <br /> existing and proposed lots) . <br /> (2) The area of development exceeds 100 acres, <br /> 3 <br />
