C. Construction Conditions: <br /> 1. Unless otherwise provided in this contract , all <br /> construction shall be in accordance with Town policy, <br /> standards and specifications. <br /> a) The Town shall designate the size and type of <br /> material for all water and sewer lines. <br /> b) All work shall be subject to inspection by the <br /> Town . No line may be covered up until such <br /> inspection has taken place and if any line or <br /> facility is covered up prior to inspection, the <br /> Town may require such line or facility to be <br /> uncovered or exposed to view at the developer' s <br /> expense to facilitate such inspection. <br /> c) The Town may require any testing it deems <br /> appropriate to determine that the work complies <br /> with Town standards and specifications . All such <br /> testing shall be at the County's expense . <br /> d) The County' s engineer shall provide construction <br /> stake out and supervision. <br /> e ) All construction shall be performed by a <br /> contractor licensed to perform this type of work <br /> in North Carolina. <br /> 2 . The County shall bear the total cost of all water <br /> and/or sewer construction within the Project and the <br /> total cost of all water and/or sewer construction <br /> required to extend service to the Project. <br /> 7 <br />
