Distribuiton of informational materials by Animal <br /> Control Officers conducting community surveys or <br /> responding to complaint calls, or in other timely <br /> circumstances. <br /> 6 . Participation in special events/exhibitions with Animal <br /> Control informational exhibits: <br /> - Hog Day in Hillsborough (June) <br /> - Community Information Day at University Mall , Chapel <br /> Hill (September ) <br /> - Scheduled Animal Shows <br /> - other appropriate events <br /> 7 . Development and implemention of Animal Control <br /> educational programs provided to school classes, day <br /> cares and community groups on request . Programs would <br /> be available on: the Orange County Animal Control <br /> Ordinance, Safety Around Animals/Rabies Control , Animal <br /> Control Division Services, Responsible Animal Ownership, <br /> and other pertinent subjects. <br /> 8. Dissemination of Animal Control information and <br /> materials to Orange County employees through the County <br /> employee paycheck inserts. <br /> 9 . Television and/or Cable-TV Public Service Announcements <br /> on. Animal Control/Rabies Prevention issues of regional <br /> interest may be explored for future consideration. <br /> Probably slide/script format would be used due to the <br /> high cost associated with the production of video PSAs. <br /> 10 .
