Jacobs noted if the <br /> condition is worded as that in Turtledove <br /> Subdivision (in the event the road is upgraded by <br /> development of adjoining properties, the owners of <br /> the property in the subdivision as well as the <br /> owners of the adjoining properties, will agree to <br /> maintain the private road in an upgraded <br /> condition-NCDOT standards ) until NCDOT accepts the <br /> road for maintenance. <br /> Best indicated that he would like to include a <br /> condition for no further subdivision of the lots <br /> in Theodore Parrish Subdivision. <br /> MOTION: Best moved approval with three conditions : <br /> ( 1 ) that the plat indicate a 30-foot pedestrian <br /> and non-motorized vehicle easement; <br /> (2 ) that the Road Maintenance Agreement state <br /> that in the event that Running Green Road is <br /> upgraded by development of the property to <br /> the east, the owners of property in Theodore <br /> Parrish Subdivision as well as the owners of <br /> the property being developed to the east will <br /> agree to maintain Running Green Road in an <br /> upgraded condition (NCDOT standards ) until <br /> NCDOT accepts the road for maintenance. <br /> (3 ) that there be no further subdivision of the <br /> lots in Theodore Parrish Subdivision. <br /> Seconded by Pilkey. <br /> Eddleman expressed concern with condition #3 in <br /> that a more restrictive requirement might be <br /> placed on the subdivision than future zoning <br /> reclassification might allow.
