At the April 19th Board meeting the Manager <br /> placed this item on the agenda and after brief discussion the <br /> Board approved the Manager's recommendation that: (1) the <br /> Board review the agreement and inform him of any questions or <br /> concerns, (2) that the Board through the Manager ask OWASA for <br /> additional time in order that this item be placed on the May 2 <br /> agenda for further discussion from which a collective response <br /> would be prepared for OWASA. <br /> Both the Chapel Hill and Carrboro Town Boards have postponed <br /> any recommendation on this proposal until further intergovern- <br /> mental study could be conducted to analyze its full impact. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S) : <br /> Manager supports proposal of Chapel Hill Town Manager David <br /> Taylor (as cited in his proposed resolution presented to Town <br /> Council April 25) (see attached) that Chatham County, Orange <br /> County, Chapel Hill and Carrboro form an intergovernmental <br /> committee to look at this issue as well as other matters of <br /> mutual concern. <br />
