MEMO TO: Board of Commissioners
FROM: John Link, County Manager (/
SUBJECT: Proceedings for Special eting on July 25
DATE: July 21, 1988
I am forwarding to you the suggested proceedings for the
special meeting on July 25 . It is very important that cover
all points ad,iressed in the suggested proceedings . To insure
everything is covered, we will suggest that the entire text
be read into the record at the special meeting.
Since my last correspondence to you (dated July 19 ) , several
suggestions about names to be added to the list of possible
bond promotional committee members have been made. They are
listed below:
Ron Hyatt
Eddie Mann
Clean Currie
Keith Coleman
Jack Vogt
Bill Baxter
Grainger Barrett
Frank Sheffield
Joe Nassif
I believe the most crucial decision right now is to agree on
a chairperson or two co-chairs) . Once the chairperson is
appointed, the staff can start to work with him/her to
provide background and educational materials .
The entire committee should be in place by August 16 . We
should have at least 20 to 30 people in all on the committee.
Please call me, Albert or Ellen if you should have
suggestions or concerns about the bond referendum.
cc: Albert Kittrell
( Ellen Liston /
