The Department of Social Services has received an Adult <br /> Services grant from the state. The total grant amount <br /> is $20,442 and no County match is required. This grant <br /> will be used for the purchase of equipment and current <br /> personnel time that is spent on the Adult Services <br /> project. <br /> 2 . The Orange County Arts Commission was awarded $3, 100 by <br /> the Board of Commissioners during the 1987-88 budget <br /> session. This money was to be utilized for a part-time <br /> administrative assistant. The Recreation Department, <br /> along with the Arts Commission, requests that $675 be <br /> transferred to the Recreation Department for the purchase <br /> of furniture for this position. <br /> 3 . This amendment proposes the transfer of $11,503 from the <br /> Handicap Accessibility project to the Courthouse & Ag <br /> Building project. The elevator project, which is budgeted <br /> in this fund, is complete and the transfer of this fund's <br /> fund balance will close the fund. These funds will be <br /> utilized to make additional modifications that are neces- <br /> sitated by the relocation of the County's admin offices . <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S) : <br /> Approve motion to amend the 1987-88 Budget Ordinance by the <br /> proposed amendments . <br />
