The use of design features for watershed <br /> protection, natural/historic areas preservation, <br /> and the retention of scenic views and natural <br /> vegetation. <br /> At its January 18, 1988 meeting, the Planning Board <br /> considered the recommendations of the two committees <br /> and adopted the proposed policy resolution. <br /> Subsequently, the Board of Commissioners adopted a <br /> similar resolution on February 1 and set February 22 <br /> as the public hearing date for the purpose of <br /> incorporating the provisions of the policy resolution <br /> into the Subdivision Regulations. If approved, the <br /> new provisions would be administered until a more <br /> detailed study of private road standards could be <br /> completed and additional amendments proposed. <br /> At its March 21, 1988 meeting, the Planning Board <br /> recommended approval of the proposed amendments with <br /> the revisions as recommended by the County Attorney. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Administration recommends approval of the proposed <br /> amendments per the Planning Board recommendation. <br /> Proposed revisions as recommended by the County <br /> Attorney are underlined on the attached proposals. <br />
