" <br /> Six (6) vendors responded to the bid solicitation <br /> (tabulation attached) , with Nu-Life Environmental of Easley, <br /> S. C. submitting the lowest bid of $404 per unit. Nu-Life's <br /> containers are in compliance with the specifications and <br /> bonding requirements were met by the vendor thereby <br /> qualifying them them as the "lowest responsible bidder". <br /> Containers purchased under this bid are budgeted in the <br /> 1987-88 budget. They are to be used for replacement of worn <br /> containers in addition to providing set up containers for <br /> two new collection sites on High Rock Road and Highway 86 <br /> North. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: Award bid for 100 six (6)Environmental of Easley, yard waste containers to <br /> $40,400. for a sum of <br />
