The property <br /> consists of 0 .53 acres and is zoned Rural Buffer (RB) . <br /> Legal action was initiated by Orange County in 1985 <br /> against Mr. Pratt for violation of Zoning Ordinance <br /> Section 6 . 16 . 7 (Storage of Junked or Wrecked Motor <br /> Vehicles) . The courts determined that more explicit <br /> meaning should be applied to "Junked or Wrecked Motor <br /> Vehicles" , and the Zoning Ordinance was amended on <br /> March 5, 1986 to reflect the refined definition. <br /> The amortizing effect created by the amendment allowed <br /> Mr. Pratt an additional two years from date of <br /> amendment to clear his property of junked vehicles and <br /> to come into compliance. The two year extension <br /> period ended March 5, 1988 and Mr. Pratt has been <br /> found to be in continued violation of the Orange <br /> County Zoning Ordinance - Section 6 . 16. 7 . <br />
