The program includes year-round <br /> workshops and training clinics in a variety of sports. Emphasis is placed on wellness <br /> and fitness principles and a continual fitness program. Local district/county <br /> programs include similar dimensions and culminate in 2-5 days of competitive games <br /> during the Spring. Winners from local games are then eligible to represent their <br /> district/county in state competition in the Fall. National competition is held every <br /> other year. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): As the board decides. <br />
