On March 1 , 1988 , the Board of Commissioners approved <br /> a contractual agreement with Independent Opinion Research <br /> and Communication , Inc . This amendment appropriates <br /> funds for a Public Opinion Survey consisting of 500 <br /> telephone surveys relating to the County ' s CIP . The <br /> cost of this portion of the survey is $7 , 500 and will <br /> be appropriated from contingency. <br /> 2 . On February 16 , 1988 , the Board of Commissioners approved <br /> a subscription and fee schedule for access to the land <br /> records system. This amendment will utilize a portion <br /> of the collected fees for the purchase of modems . <br /> -- _ _- _ 3 . On February 16 , 1988 , the Board of Commissioners approved <br /> the purchase of an ambulance from State contract. Funds <br /> were appropriated for this purchase during the 1987-88 budget <br /> adoption . The funds were budgeted in the County Capital <br /> Reserve . This amendment will transfer these funds to <br /> the General Fund . , <br /> • <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S) : Approve motion to amend the 1987-88 Budget Ordinance <br /> by the proposed amendments . <br />
