061 <br /> Use of Volunteers <br /> Volunteers are coordinated through the Retired Senior Volunteer <br /> Program (RSVP) and are used to assist with all the following <br /> functions : <br /> Registration <br /> Bulk Mailing <br /> Clerical Assistance <br /> Coffee Break Hostesses <br /> Shopping for Supplies <br /> Advisory Council <br /> Approximately 25-30 hours per semester are given by about 12 <br /> volunteers. <br /> Future Changes <br /> 1 . If the program can obtain modest financial support we anticipate a <br /> significant increased growth during the coming years. The <br /> demographics indicate that the population of older citizens is the <br /> fastest growing age group in the Chapel Hill Community. The area <br /> is rapidly becoming an international retirement community for <br /> people who are committed to life-long learning. <br /> 2 . If the program receives no financial support, the future is <br /> uncertain for its continuation. <br /> 4 <br />
