Mr. Irving Isaacson <br /> February 19, 1988 <br /> Page 2 <br /> ()Cs <br /> Task 4 Prepare 1 "=200' scale topographic maps with 2-foot <br /> contours for the area described in Task 3. <br /> Task 5 Convert data from tasks 1-4 in digital form for use with <br /> the County/Hazen and Sawyer AutoCAD system. <br /> Task 6 Develop a stage-area-volume relationship for the entire <br /> reservoir study area or portion thereof to be described <br /> at a later date. <br /> Mapping Instructions <br /> 1 . All mapping is to be performed in accordance with National Map <br /> Standards. <br /> 2. The North Carolina Grid Coordinate System is to be used for <br /> horizontal control . Vertical control is to be referenced to <br /> the National Mean Sea Level datum. <br /> 3. Point elevations accurate to ±1 foot or better are to be given <br /> on all topographic maps for the reservoir study area and <br /> potential construction area for the following: (a) ground <br /> elevations immediately adjacent to all buildings (b) low <br /> points on roads and bridge decks at all stream crossings. <br /> 4. Final maps are to be presented on 24" x 36" mylar sheets. <br /> Please note, it is imperative that all aerial photographic work for <br /> this project and any necessary preparatory field work be conducted during <br /> the current "flying season," which will probably expire sometime in March <br /> or early April . To meet this timetable, we will need to receive your <br /> price quotation by this coming Thursday, February 25, for presentation <br /> during the next meeting of the Orange County Board of Commissioners. <br /> Please advise if you will have difficulty in meeting the proposed <br /> timetable. <br /> Note also that, pending later evaluation, Tasks 5 and 6 may be <br /> deleted. We anticipate that the final maps prepared under Tasks 2 and 4 <br /> will be needed by May of this year. <br /> Please submit your price quotation to the attention of the <br /> undersigned.
