What is proposed is a joint non-warranty deed from all of the parties <br /> involved to the North Carolina Department of Transportation. Should <br /> questions arise from DOT concerning acceptance of this deed, other <br /> solutions may become apparent which do not change the purpose or the <br /> policy surrounding the proposed transaction. For that reason the <br /> recommendation is broader in scope than authorizing the execution <br /> of the deed from all parties involved to North Carolina Department <br /> of Transportation. Details can be worked out administratively in <br /> the event the proposed solution needs fine tuning. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S) : Authorize the conveyance by Orange County by non-warranty deed <br /> or other comparable method of conveyance to the State of <br /> North Carolina and its Department of Transportation of the <br /> land it owns within the right-of-way of Lake Orange Road as <br /> depicted on the plat entitled Lake Orange Road Extension. The <br /> conveyance or transfer shall be for public right-of-way <br /> purposes. <br />
