Lunsford
FROM: Ira R. Trollinger)
REFERENCE: Request for Board Action Concerning the Paving of Miller Road
Attached is a memorandum concerning a request from Mable Gordon
asking that the Orange County Board of Education use their influence
to try and get Miller Road paved as soon as possible. This is im-
portant to the instructional program for two reasons. First, next
year' s project house will be built on one of the four building sites
in Panther Court. Secondly, Tommy Leonard and Dave Gibbs will be using
the remaining land as a field laboratory for growing corn. Factors
effecting both of these projects are outlined in Mable Gordon' s memo.
The vocational program and its staff solicit the Orange County Board
of Education' s help in getting Miller Road paved. We appreciate any
support that you might give to our efforts.
Thank you.
crm
cc: le L. Gordon )
Stephen H. Halkiotis ) w/o attachment
