-Litter and pollution will deface the land. <br /> -Remaining property values would be adversely effected. <br /> -Acquisition for and development of the plan would make <br /> the casld/benefit ratio unacceptable. <br /> -Operation and maintenance coat (personnel and dollars) <br /> would be prohibitive <br /> -Liability problems would place an intolerable financial <br /> burden on the property owners. <br /> For the reeeona stated above, the taxpayers of rural Orange <br /> County consider this an unworkable program which cannot be made <br /> workable. <br /> In conclusion. the citizens of rural Orange County recommend <br /> that the Orange County Recreation And Parks Department and the <br /> Orange County Planning Department concentrate their efforts on <br /> using the government facilities and lands currently available to <br /> them. ( For example, according to the data in the Greenway Plan <br /> Orange Water and Sewer Authority (OWASA) has already acquired <br /> 1500 to 2000 acres of land around Cane Creek Reservoir. ) The <br /> citizens further insist that you demonstrate to the people of <br /> Orange County that you are capable of planning and administrating <br /> their resources in an efficient and responsible manner. <br />
