The <br /> $6,000 request was to maintain current staffing levels through <br /> the fiscal year. The source of funding is the Commissioners' <br /> Contingency. <br /> 2. During 1986-87 fiscal year, funds were appropriated from the <br /> School Capital Reserve_for Orange County and Chapel Hill-Carrboro <br /> Schools roofs. However, these funds were not spent nor encumbered <br /> on June 30, 1987; therefore, this amendment is necessary to allow <br /> these expenditures for the 1987-88 fiscal year. (The balance of <br /> Unappropriated Fund Balance is $285,856.) <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve motion to amend the 1987-88 Budget' Ordinance by the <br /> proposed amendments. <br />
